Indian Summer

Carven1

Hello, September! It’s a warm one here in Chicago, with temperatures in the 90s! September is one of my favorite months (despite the fact that I grow a year older). I love the return to fall fashion, but I’m happy to hang on to summer for just a bit longer. I’m wearing a few of what I like to refer to as my wardrobe MVPs here, those items I wore again and again this summer. I’m always looking for pieces that will give me a ton of bang for my buck.

Chloe2

This Chloe bag was one of my best purchases of the season. I nabbed it on sale at SSENSE. The Canadian site is a good one for discounts on handbags and super trendy items. Their inventory is insane.

Truthfully, I was always on the fence about Chloe bags. They are a little preppy for my style. Nonetheless, I’ve been into mini bags big-time this year and I finally decided it was a cute addition for summer. And was it ever. It fit perfectly into my large bucket bag while I was traveling this summer and I paired it with every single outfit I wore!

These Prada sandals were another great purchase. I found them on sale at Neiman Marcus and pretty much wore them to death this summer (and already plan to do the same next year). Super sold on flatforms and hope they are here to stay. (Did you spot the lace-up ones from Forever 21 in the shopping link? So. getting. those.)

I found the Carven skirt on sale at Neiman Marcus. It’s a great print that can be worn a thousand different ways. The tank is from JBrand and was also bought on sale at Neiman Marcus. It’s loose and comfy without being droopy in the front, know what I mean?
