Readers know that anything quirky/edgy/feminine has my heart. That’s Vivetta, all rolled up in one dreamlike package. This is my first time wearing the brand and I’m smitten. I have been having so much fun wearing this heart-print dress and I’m lusting after everything I’m seeing for fall—the whole Vivetta vibe makes my heart pound. Indeed, I haven’t felt this way since Alessandro Michele’s first show for Gucci. Just look at the Vivetta site. Heart pounding. Throat thickening. Absolutely can’t swallow. All the usual symptoms. (Name that movie.)

This is how I get when I feel fashion IN MY CORE.

Vivetta is a label from Milan created by former Roberto Cavalli designer, Vivetta Ponti. It has many of the core Noir Friday elements: a hint of whimsy, unexpected details, nostalgia, modern silhouettes. It’s fun and unafraid.

I bought this heart-print dress for a trip to Mexico that happened to coincide with Valentine’s Day. I knew the resort we were staying at would be going all out with fireworks and a special dinner and while I’m not usually very big on Valentine’s Day, I decided to go with it. I spotted this dress on Farfetch, a site I recently began shopping. I first bought these Dolce & Gabbana sneakers and appreciated the packaging and speedy service. The dress also came quickly (two days, with frequent updates via text).  I’m happy because they sell a lot of Italian pieces that may be hard to find elsewhere. I have yet to return anything but I don’t suspect that would be an issue. (Natalie Massenet, founder of Net-A-Porter, recently joined the Farfetch board.). The pink glitter heels I’m wearing here are by Dolce & Gabbana, the ring is from Gucci and the clutch is Christopher Kane (more on that, and the sunglasses, here.)

Shop some of my current favorites from Vivetta here. Right now I’m dreaming of a mommy-and-me moment with the Vivetta pieces for girls. (!!!)
