It’s time to start dreaming up your festive attire. The mood this year is super glam, nostalgic, over-the-top, and elegant (always). It’s all about channeling a certain idea. There’s the ubiquitous sparkle, but this year it’s all about tartan for me—tartan dresses, tartan bows, tartan shoes. I’m giddy for tartan—as in, I have purchased three tartan dresses, and counting. You can find it all below.

I’m also into slightly off or unexpected shades of green, chic, low pumps and mini dresses. It has to be comfortable this year. What’s definitely out for me is squeezing into a skinny sequined column that I can’t move in. It has to feel easy and effortless.
