Things I’m Loving This February

There are many things I’m loving this February. I have found so many fabulous dresses and I’m sharing the designers I’m currently obsessed with, plus everything else I’m into right now.

1. All the new dresses for spring

The brands I’m loving for next season include Saloni, Retrofete and LoveShackFancy. I am infatuated with all three brands at the moment and can hardly wait for more pieces to go on sale. I bought this pink Saloni dress on sale at Revolve—it’s now sold out but similar one are linked below. LoveShackFancy also has some amazing dresses for spring (including some darling ones for little girls, meep) and the Retrofete dresses here are stunning.

I scoured the Internet for all the best dresses to put on your list here.

2. All the sparkly dresses I’m still seeing (and want)

Who says sequin dresses are only for the holidays? I’m still in the mood for sparkle and I am loving so many great sequin dresses right now.

3. All the pink and red and heart things

I always say I love Valentine’s Day for one reason and that’s because pink and red belong together. I finally bought the Saint Laurent Loulou heart-shaped glasses. I was back and forth about them—on the one hand, so many people have them and there are so many copies; on the other, I have kept coming back to them. What finally tipped the scale was seeing them in the leopard print. The leopard just gives them something extra (always). Seeing the Golden Goose sneakers in hot pink and burgundy velvet has also tipped the scales for me on that brand. Honestly, I could not see the appeal of these scuffed up kicks before but I have been circling them in velvet for weeks.

4. Being cozy at home

Hibernating and binge-watching television is more than allowed to continue into February. I watched every single episode of Younger in January/February and it was glorious! We finally closed out The Americans last weekend and I thought the ending was perfection. We’re now on the last season of The Affair.

I’m always in sweatpants and a knit when I’m not in my pajamas at home. This particular combo just makes me feel warm and cozy and still sort of dressed. My favorite brand for cozy joggers is Sundry and most of the knits I wear day in and day out are from H&M.

5. Being back in my regular fitness routine

It feels so good to be back in my regular fitness routine after the holidays. I never abandoned it completely but my brain is thanking me for being more consistent.

My favorite brands for activewear include Beyond Yoga, Perfect Moment, The Upside and PE Nation. I’m always looking for pieces on sale and keep a shop here. I just found a bunch of Perfect Moment pieces with the star print, which I love, at the The Outnet.

6. Cooking and baking at home

I have been cooking and baking up a storm in our new kitchen and I love all the sheet pan recipes by Half Baked Harvest. We have made the harissa chicken, fajitas, chicken shawarma, sticky pomegranate chicken and souvlaki, and they were all delicious. Alexandra and I have also made the healthy…ish cookie bars a couple of times (yum). (If it sounds like I have been a bear in winter, that’s because I have been!!)

6. Beauty indulgences

It could be my imagination/desperate hope but I feel like this firming body cream actually works. Now I want to add the body wash.

I’m also keen to try this serum by Vintner’s Daughter. I saw an article about it in Vogue. It’s a splurge but I like the idea of a skin treatment that seems to have been produced with the same passion as it takes to make a great wine.

Cheers to a healthy and happy February.
