I look for dresses more than I look for anything else. That’s because I love to wear them. I like statement dresses as much as I like statements shoes, bags, accessories, everything. But they must be easy to throw on—I don’t care for anything too fussy or restricting. I must be able to move in it.

I found this dress on major sale last season at Saks Fifth Avenue. It was my second time buying Erdem. I love the designer’s dark and moody florals. (See a bunch below.) Even the more upbeat print I’m wearing here still has an exotic, far-reaching quality.

I have also included a bunch of other dresses to shop. I must say, it’s not the easiest season this go-around for finding the kind of easy-breezy, eye-catching dresses I described above. I had to search the Earth (Internet) to find the best of the best. I ended up with 60+ dresses to shop, which I have divided into categories below.
