1. All the cozy sweaters I had when I was nine

The LoveShackFancy knits are exactly something I would have worn at age nine, probably with a pair of knickers and thick tights—this is the kind of outfit my mom would put out on my bed for school while I was asleep. I love all the sweet and nostalgic knitwear this season.

2. All the feminine frocks—with a little edge

Everyone knows I love feminine looks, but always with a little edge, a twist, something to throw it a bit off kilter. I’m not talking tossing a moto jacket over a floral dress. For me this is more like an “ugly” print, a throwback silhouette or an unexpected color. Right now, I love the boho Ulla Johnson dresses (which I would pair with snakeskin or leopard boots), the sweet LoveShackFancy frocks with giant puffy sleeves and plunging necklines, the vegan leather dresses and more. Even the silk dresses and tops in rich chocolate browns and other autumnal hues are a nice twist this season—they totally remind me of my mom in the 80s.

The Paris Texas boots are everywhere and I’m obsessed. I really want to get my hands on the snake one in any color. I also really like the leopard Ulla Johnson boots.

The Stand totes are just perfect for fall and winter, just perfect! And nicely priced, too.

5. All the high camp accessories

The bigger and more vulgar the better.
