I have been rounding up the best pieces to buy on sale as well as those I’m tracking daily (hourly) to go on sale. There are round-ups for Net-A-Porter and Shopbop and a giant wishlist of items I put together a few weeks ago and have been constantly updating.

It’s a lot to take in.

This post focuses on the best of the best—those pieces or brands I’m fixated on this season.

I definitely have a few brand crushes going on. I’m loving the whole vibe of LoveShackFancy this summer. I love vintage florals—my heart skipped when the interior designer I work with sent me this dreamy carpet for Alexandra’s room and I immediately wanted to base everything else around it. Have you ever seen Neil Simon’s Seems Like Old Times? The 1980 film is one of my favorites—I can never get enough of Goldie Hawn in her ditsy blossom dresses and dusty pink suits and the on par home she shares with Charles Grodin. LoveShackFancy reminds me of that.

I also want all the shoes from Jimmy Choo. All the shoes.

And then there’s the dress I’m wearing in the photos here, which is maybe my favorite to date. The color is perfection and the cut is so flattering. I had it hemmed to wear with both heels and flats. I’m wearing it here with a low block heel and I also wore it in Mexico with these Roger Vivier slides (one of my best sale buys from last year). I love wearing gowns with flat sandals.

Plus there’s a lot more I’m obsessing over at the moment. Here’s what I think are the best buys of the season.

Note that Shopbop is offering an extra 25 percent off sale items with the code SCORE19, Farfetch has an extra 30 percent off sale with the code JX30 and you can get an extra 15 off already discounted items at Luisaviaroma with the code EX15. Barneys New York also has an extra 15 percent off sale items with code BNYSALE.

1. All the things from LoveShackFancy (obviously)

I love the dresses, I love the bags, I love the bows, I love the mommy-and-me looks, I love it alllll. I recently bought the pink checked and blue floral print dresses from Net-A-Porter for Alexandra and they are darling. And you can bet I immediately scooped up a pair of sneakers from the LoveShackFancy x Superga collaboration.

2. Something from Brock Collection

Another brand I love for its vintage florals and romantic designs is Brock Collection. I have yet to find the right piece on sale but I have been searching daily. It’s all an investment, even on sale, but I love the whole pastoral feel of the resort 19 collection. The photos from that lookbook are some of the most beautiful I have seen. I also recently discovered the brand’s line of invitations on Paperless Post and used one for my sister-in-law’s baby shower—absolutely beautiful.

3. Saloni dresses

I bought my pink Saloni dress on sale at Revole a few months ago but I have seen both the gown and the shorter version pop up here and there. There’s a lovely blue one on sale and I love the gold sequin dress.

4. Alessandra Rich earrings

This is another brand for which I just love the whole aesthetic and I am obsessed with these earrings. I first bought the giant pink hearts, which are surprisingly comfortable to wear, and then went on to the giant anchors and the pearls. Love them all.

5. Sleeper lounge dress

These lounge dresses are so perfect for summer holiday or lounging around your house or backyard. They are not on sale yet but the prices are not astronomical and when you think of cost per wear!! I bought the lounge linen dress with little florals (obviously) and plan to live in it this summer. The feather trimmed pajamas are also pretty fabulous (how perfect for New Year’s Eve!).

6. Nanushka vegan leather

Nanushka is another brand I have a huge crush on right now. I’m not sure how or where exactly I came across it but their vegan leather pieces are stunning. I bought the black midi dress on sale at Farfetch and it is so soft. I’m now on the hunt for the puffer jacket on sale—obsessed.

7. Shrimps

I suppose you can say I’m into all the British designers at the moment. I bought the sneakers and the pink sweatshirt from the Shrimps x Converse collection and I’m all about this brand now. The details in this collection—little shrimps placed here and there—are delightful. I bought the pearl clutch in ivory (now sold out) on sale at MatchesFashion and I really want one of the top handle bags below. (I went with the clutch first because it’s easy to stow in my suitcase for summer holiday.)

8. Needle & Thread dresses

I have been loving this brand for a while and the pre-fall collection is pretty much perfect. I bought this sweatshirt, which I have only seen on their site so far, the gorgeous sequin gown below and the beautiful bow detail dress. I also bought the one I’m wearing here on sale at Net-A-Porter a few weeks ago. (Be sure to also check the Needle & Thread site for this dress and others on sale.)

My whole mood this summer is elegant and feminine and a little nostalgic. Which is why I’m also into…

9. Lace, lace and more lace

There are so many gorgeous lace dresses right now. Most of these are not on sale yet but I am keeping watch.

10. Jimmy Choo mules

I must admit I pretty much wrote this brand off after Tamara Mellon left but man are they are on my radar lately. It is pretty much impossible to choose between these mules and they stubbornly won’t go on sale but when one does, choice made.
