The pieces I have been lusting over for months are beginning to go on sale. I wrote about the gorgeous Carven dress I have been wanting yesterday. And today I spied this glorious Maje number. I almost bought it last week through the Net-A-Porter Private Sale, but I hesitated at those numbers. This number, however, this number is smashing!

This prettiest of pink dresses has my heart. The soft pink hue is so feminine and the combination of ruching and sharp pleats using elegant chiffon is simply perfect. It’s the ideal dress for an elegant daytime event with a smart pump, or perhaps a pair of Converse and a clutch for a cool-girl look. I’s also lovely for warm evenings with some scrappy, metallic heels.

Maje feels like the (Parisian) girl next door. It’s elegant and slightly boho, luxurious but with a little street. It me!
