I went through all the items included in the Net-A-Porter Friends and Family sale to find the very best ones and I have to say it was great fun to do such a major browse. I haven’t thought much about fashion in the past seven or eight months and it was nice to see all the pretty things and think about looks again. The little shopping I have done has been for kitchen and home items. (I recently picked up a bunch of Christmas stuff because it’s never too early.) This list for the Net-A-Porter sale includes everything from investment dresses to pajamas, so there’s a bit of everything.

I usually compile a wish list for any sort of friends & family sale and either buy something right away (jeans, activewear) or keep track of pieces I love for further reductions (investment items, shoes). I’ll save any summery things for later sales since those are sure to be further reduced in a couple of months. For winter items, or things I can wear right now, I’ll check all the major retailers to see how widely available a piece is and decide if I should snap it up or if I think I can wait.

I’m working on a post of all the fall fashion pieces I love right now but I have basically been obsessed with anything by Ulla Johnson. Her dusty rose satin midi dress is so gorgeous.

Rixo always has great sequined dresses. I have this one and this one, and I love the green here.

The Mary Kantranzou x Superga sneakers are so cute. I loved her collaboration with Adidas a few years back.

The DKNY pajamas are my go-to; they are super comfortable and a great price. I’m also contemplating buying another one of the Stand totes. I purchased the gray one in the photo above last year and I wore it on lots of trips since it’s so oversized and fits everything. (My husband took this photo of me in NYC last November for an anniversary trip—happy times!)
