I love this time of year—the air is crisp, the leaves are finally turning and everything feels so cozy. I bought all my autumn/Halloween decor in early September but by this time everyone has gone all out and I love walks around the neighborhood to view all the incredible seasonal displays. I snapped this photo last fall—doesn’t Chicago have the best decor? I hope you are enjoying the season. Here’s what else I’m loving in October:

1. ALL THE FAUX FUR

This is the time of year I pull out all my snuggly faux fur jackets. It will be too cold for them in another month so October is the time. I have had this one for ages and I so look forward to wearing it each year. I recently picked this one up at H&M and it is so cozy and chic:

2. NATURAL DEODORANT

I have finally ditched regular deodorant for good and wish I had done so years ago. I had been wanting to make the switch for a while but couldn’t find a natural products I liked—until this one:

3. SOFT MAKEUP

…to wear with some bold sparkle this holiday season! I recently bought this eye shadow palette to wear with black eyeliner and I love Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow for days when I don’t feel like wearing foundation (read: I’m running out the door in joggers for the school run) or I want a little extra shimmer in the evening:

4. A VELVET OR QUILTED BAG

I can’t decide. I have wanted the Saint Laurent velvet bag since last fall; I love that you can wear it as a shoulder bag or as a clutch. I also love the quilted pouch and the velvet Gucci bag is another fabulous option (if you’re like me, you’re always wishing you had another evening bag). Keeping an eye on all of these:

5. PERFECT MOMENT SPORTS BRA

If you read my September list, you know I have been shopping for activewear and this is my favorite new sports bra. It offers the perfect amount of support and is so comfortable.

6. SUPER COMFY PJS

I bought these last week and have barely taken them off!

7. STRIPED KNITWEAR—AND SPARKLES

I’m carrying my love of colorful stripes into autumn with cozy knitwear—or serious shine for the holidays. Our calendar is already packed for the holidays and either of these dresses would work for multiple events:

8. OVERSIZED TURTLENEKS
