Links: Easter decor, masks, carrot cake cupcakes

I bought some things for Easter before the quarantine. William’s Sonoma has some really cute items. The tapers, taper holders and mug in the photo here are all from there. I had the bunny figurines from last year. I love decorating for holidays and seasons, and I keep a stock of pretty little things.

I also love having fresh flowers around, especially right now when everything is so bleak. I normally don’t buy hydrangeas until summer but I had my husband pick them up during this last trip to the grocery store since they can last for weeks. It’s all about little joys right now.

I bought this cute Easter basket and wrapping paper.

A really good article on hand washing.

Plan to try these veggie burgers soon.

We made these carrot cake cupcakes over the weekend.

Lots of companies are making masks for you to buy and donate. I bought some through here and here. There are also lots of tutorials for making your own.

Need a new book to read?

Homeschooling is overwhelming and we’re definitely not looking for more to do but this article has some neat ideas to break things up. Alexandra enjoyed listening to illustrator Oliver Jeffers last week and I’m going have her try the quiz to donate rice.

Note that I’ve changed the title of my weekly update to give you more of an idea what’s inside the post.

Stay safe and healthy.
